I love teaching. I love to travel. My favorite hobbies: just about anything outside: road/mountain biking, river rafting, skiing, camping or just hanging out in the park downtown with friends.
I graduated in 2003 from Santa Clara University, studying accounting. For three years, I worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, a public accounting firm, where I learned so much about hard work and business.
Accounting wasn’t for me, so I moved back home to Colorado in 2006 and became a ski instructor at Steamboat and Monarch. In 2008, I traveled in South America and Europe for over a year and taught English in Peru.
I met my wife in Denver and am a proud father of two. I graduated with a master’s degree in 2012 in Urban Education at the University of Denver and graduated from the Denver Teacher Residency Program.
I use ‘Blended Learning‘ often to differentiate challenging lessons to all my students with my 1-1 student to Chromebook ratio class.
